Reason in Rescue: Puppy mill release George is a young, sweet, very, very smart, playful, and quite shy little boy. When he first came to rescue, he wouldnt allow anyone to touch him, he was so afraid of being hurt, he had come from a puppy mill where he had been abused. But, Georges spirit eventually triumphed, and with time, patience, and love, he learned how to be petted. He has even gone so far as to roll to his side for belly rubs and can give the sweetest little kisses. It is so touching to see how hard he has worked to learn to love and be loved. He will gladly push other poodles out of the way for his turn to be petted. He loves hanging out in the backyard, going for walks, and riding in the car. He also likes being with my other poodles, he is good with other dogs. Hes crate trained, and is making good progress on being housebroken. He isnt the right dog for everyone, he probably would not do well with children, and he needs someone with the patience and love that can see that he just might end up being the best dog theyve ever had. Foster Home: Tulsa Adoption Fee: $175.00 PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship or transport our rescues. You have to come to the Tulsa area to meet with the dog and the foster home.
