Captain Jack is a male, 8lb, black tabby and white exotic shorthair cat. Captain Jack's estimated date of birth is April xxxx. Captain Jack is a very special cat. He came to ARF because the lady that had him couldn't socialize him and he was scared and hid all the time. He has been in his foster home and is now a very sweet and friendly cat. He takes a while to get used to his surroundings and will need a home that is quieter with no small children and patient owners. He is a curious cat by nature so given time to explore his surroundings and get used to them, he is very affectionate. He LOVES to play with his toys and have you interact with him and the toys. He is a very talkative cat. He needs a home with no other cats as he is a dominant personality around other cats but he would do well in a home with a small cat friendly dog as he loves the terrier mix in his foster home curling up next to him on the bed at night. He is litterbox trained and uses it like a champ. Jack may not be a cat for a first time cat owner because of the adjustment time he'll need before being happy in a new home, but once he loves you he loves you. He is meowing in his picture not hissing. Jack has a $125.00 adoption fee. Note: ARF reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal.
